Rabbi Yigal Abramchik: Rosh Yeshiva and Executive Director at TTB received his Rabbinical ordination in 2007 from Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim. He simultaneously completed the highly regarded Principal Torah
Initiative course in school administration and the Mercaz Teaching Training Program. Rabbi Abramchik
is also a graduate of Touro College with a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Business Management and
Administration. His years as a beloved Rebbe in Yeshiva Tiferes Yisroel in Brooklyn, combined with his
school administration proficiency, gives him the skills and background needed to teach talmidim from his
heart and also ensure the Yeshiva operates smoothly. Rabbi Abramchik founded TTB in 2014, gives shiur
to the Bais Medrash bochurim and teaches in the High School. He is known for bringing out the best
qualities in his students, while also overseeing TTB’s daily administration, carrying forward a great
vision for the future.

Rabbi Yehoshua Schloss: Rosh Yeshiva and Principal of TTB’s High School, received his Rabbinical ordination in 2009 from Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim. During this time he completed the highly regarded Principal Torah initiative course in school administration, as well as the Mercaz Teacher Training Program. Taking advantage of every opportunity to immerse himself in education, he became a mentor for younger
students and Rebbe for the 10th grade Honors Shiur at Mesivta Chofetz Chaim. He later joined the faculty
of Yeshiva Tiferes Yisroel in Brooklyn as Mashgiach of the 11th and 12th grades and a member of the
administration of Bais Medrash Zichron Ezra. He founded TTB in 2014, and is known for his warmth and
caring nature. Rabbi Schloss develops and maintains close relationships with each of his students, making
him a prolific, skilled and approachable Rosh Yeshiva, principal and 9th grade Rebbe.

FOUNDING ROSH YESHIVA
Rabbi Shaul Opoczynski: One of the founding Roshei Yeshiva of TTB, received his Rabbinical ordination in 2010 from Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim, having been fortunate to have learned under the venerated Rosh HaYeshiva, Rav. A. H. Leibowitz, zt”l. During his Kollel years, he served as a Rosh Chaburah to younger Bais Medrash bochurim, and later joined the faculty of Tiferes B’nei Torah, giving a popular Iyun Shiur for young professionals living in Queens. Rabbi Opoczynski began teaching the 12th grade Honors Shiur at his alma mater, Yeshiva Tiferes Yisroel, where he was famed as a most extraordinary Rebbe, also giving weekly Vaadim for their Bais Medrash bochurim. Rabbi Opoczynski’s skill, understanding, and years of experience with young adults make him an exemplary founding Rosh Yeshiva. Rabbi Opoczynski currently serves as Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim in Queens, NY.
GENERAL STUDIES PRINCIPAL

Rabbi Zvi Kahn: Prior to joining TTB, Rabbi Kahn was a teacher, principal and head of school at several
prestigious Jewish day schools and Yeshivos around the country, including Hebrew
High School of New England, Coumbus Torah Academy and the Rabbi Alexandar S
Gross Hebrew Academy in Miami Beach. As a teacher, Rabbi Kahn focused on building
positive relationships with his students and on helping them become independent
learners. As a principal and head of school, he emphasized the importance of
combining academic excellence with individual attention and values education. Rabbi
Kahn received his BA in psychology from Tulane University and his MS in educational
administration from Yeshiva University (AG).

All classroom teacher that are hired to work at TTB, must have at least one of the following requirements:

Three or more years of 9th-12th grade teaching experience

Special skills, knowledge, or expertise that qualifies them to provide instruction in 9th-12th grade subjects
